How do you evolve a beloved non-profit with an established brand into something that reflects its local flavor while still honoring the original? With loving care.
Non-profits have specific needs, but when it came to Age Concern Spain, the independent subsidiary of the UK’s famous charity, & its desire to reflect its independent status while also updating its image, business, management, marketing, etc., we certainly had our work cut out for us. It was an exciting challenge that involved not just getting into the nitty gritty of a non-profit, but even meeting with British counterparts, fundraising, and more.
Our four tier synergy analysis plan
Age Concern Spain initially came to us with an RFP to update their aging website and branding, but it involved so much more. The rebranding included coming up with a whole new name, image, visual language, website, and digital management and communications, with some marketing management and fundraising sprinkled in.
After working through a number of options, Age in Spain was selected as the new name and we came up with a simple logo that both honored their roots while establishing their new, independent brand.
From a management side, we digitized important elements of the operation in order to streamline and simplify managing the paperwork needs of a national non-profit. We also modernized service elements to make it easier for their clients.
Everything of course had to be done within their budget limits. This included collaborating with the organization in their fundraising efforts with UK charities.
It was a project completed with lots of love and care and which we were very proud to have worked on.
